Rainbow Pre-school aims to provide a safe, secure and caring environment where every child is valued as an individual. In effective and meaningful partnership with parents, we aim to make the bridge between home and school as smooth and enjoyable as possible - each child in their own way developing a growing independence and positive self-image. Meeting the needs of this age group we aim to create opportunities for them to learn through their play. We have a pro-active equal opportunities policy and aim to provide the children with a positive introduction to the cultural and ethnic diversity of our world.

Treating all children as individuals we operate a keyworking system with agreed individual learning goals. We have a comprehensive range of policies which are devised in consultation with parents, committee and staff and are accessible to all.

Through monitoring and evaluation Rainbow Pre-School constantly reviews the quality and range of services available to families and staff. We have recently had a very positive Ofsted inspection report and as members of the Pre-school Learning Alliance we have achieved their Quality Assurance Accreditation.
