Admissions

For anyone who is interested in their child attending Rainbow Pre-school we set up open days for the children to visit with their parents before coming on their own. Please contact us if you wish for your child to go on the waiting list to attend Rainbow Pre-school.

Children are eligible to start Rainbow from the age of 18 months dependant on a space being available in the relevant group for their age. Some parents choose to keep their children at Rainbow until they can join a Nursery Class like that run at Spring Meadow School, others stay on until they move on to a Reception Class at school.

Our aim is to provide a programme which meets each child's individual needs. Although the children attending a session may be more than a year apart in age, they will still be involved in exploring the same topic since different activities are provided which are appropriate to their ages and developmental needs.

If a child finds the progression to Rainbow difficult and is distressed, we work closely with parents to find the best solution for each individual.

Please note that if, for some reason, children are unable to attend any of their sessions, whether Rainbow is informed in advance or not, the fees are still due as all running costs still have to be met.
