Fees

Being registered with the Nursery Education Funding means that from the term after a child's third birthday the Pre-school is able to claim for the fees through the Cambridgeshire Local Education Authority. Any child eligible for this scheme has their fees paid directly to Rainbow. It is within your rights to split this funding with other Early Years Settings, however if you take this option the pre-school will invoice you for the full amount, currently £8.25, being paid through the NEF funding.

Currently Pups group fees are £10 a session. Currently Cubs groups fees are £8.25 a session plus a snack free of £9.25 per half term. Currently Tigers groups are eligible for NEF funding and therefore will on be required to pay a £9.25 snack fee per half term plus a £5 weekly lunch fee (£2.50 per lunch including extra ½ hour of session). We require four weeks notice if you are leaving or we will invoice you for four weeks fees.

Whilst we appreciate that there are times when parents are unavoidably late, we reserve the right to fine parents who are repeatedly late picking up their child £10.00 on each occasion.

At the beginning of each half-term period all parents receive an invoice showing how many sessions their child will be attending and the total payable. All parents are asked to place their payments in a sealed envelope and post them in the black box on the wall in the Quiet Room. This is passed on to the Finance Manager who issues receipts. Please make all CHEQUES (No cash please) payable to "Rainbow Pre-school".

It is greatly appreciated if fees can be paid promptly. We are a self-financing Pre-school and rely on fees to cover:

  • Staff wages
  • A daily cleaner
  • Rates
  • Utility bills
  • Insurance
  • Pre-school materials and resources

The committee organises vital fund raising activities throughout the year to continue the development of the facilities. We ask all parents to give these activities their full support.

Fees are reviewed annually.
